Enhancing The AYSO Experience

VIP The AYSO Very Important Players (VIP) Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams.		Safe Haven™ Volunteers are the lifeblood of AYSO. To ensure the safety of both children and volunteers, each volunteer is required to take a short in-person or online training session called Safe Haven™.		Kids Zone® In AYSO, fans are asked to be cheerleaders, not critics. Kids Zone® is a unique program that includes a parent pledge that moms and dads sign to commit to positive, encouraging behavior when they’re watching the games.		Suit Up AYSO isn’t just a soccer organization, it’s a family! The Suit Up program allows Regions to support their AYSO brother and sister Regions in financial need by providing new and slightly used uniforms.

Hall of Fame

The AYSO Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact on our organization over the years. AYSO Hall of Fame members are also listed on a display in the National Soccer Hall of Fame.

U-16/U-19

The Board of Directors at its March 22-23, 1985, meeting authorized the creation of a one-year national pilot program for U-16/U-19 play. The following year, the Board announced the indefinite continuation of the program. The board reaffirmed the appropriateness of this policy in July, 2003.
