About AYSO Areas & Sections
Regions Receive Local Support, Leadership & Oversight From These Bodies
AYSO has a unique national structure. Its almost 1,000 Regions (community leagues) have two more local levels of the organization that help ensure Regions can deliver programs of a consistent high quality nationwide. The Areas and Sections work together on training, competitions and events to help Regions deliver an excellent soccer experience. They oversee compliance with AYSO fundamentals and focus on helping Regions grow so they can offer the AYSO experience to every child possible.

A new training initiative called the AYSO RoadShow debuted in 2010. The RoadShow events bring coach, referee and management core training to AYSO communities across the U.S.
